The Need
Norscit Jaynes Specialty Financing (“NJSF”) is a direct private lender. We specialize in short-term business, bridge, and opportunistic real estate loans.
We take a common-sense approach to underwrite that enables us to provide financing when most conventional lenders canʼt or wonʼt.
Rather than waste a borrowersʼ time with excessive documentation requirements and red tape, we focus on a few key metrics, primarily the value of the underlying property and the defined exit strategy, that we believe are essential to provide maximum collateral protection for our loans.
For deals that meet our criteria, we move fast ̶ often closing in as little as 14 days. This enables our borrowers to take advantage of opportunities they might not otherwise be able to.
Lending Options
We are a direct private lender specializing in short term (typically less than 6 months) bridge and opportunistic real estate loans. Our lending options include:
- $50,000 - $3,000,000 Loan Size
- 3 Months - 6 Months
*We do provide extensions and offer a unique ability to work with our borrowers. We do NOT loan to own. We loan to allow our borrowers to take advantage of an opportunistic situation.*
Our LTV is no higher than 70%.
We self-underwrite which allows to close quickly. We also have immediate access to attorneys and title examiners which allows us to close in as little as 3 business days.
Our loans are secured by real estate (usually 1st mortgages but we will look at 2nd mortgages) and/or receivables.
Steven has vast experience as an attorney, real estate developer, real estate and business investor and owner operator, and as a direct lender. Steven has been an attorney licensed in Massachusetts since 1978, specializing in real estate and small business law, combining creative problem solving skills with knowledge of the law to fashion favorable outcomes for clients.
Daniel has been involved in collateral lending since he graduated from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. His family opened their Pawnshop in 1993 and since 2007, Daniel has navigated through several peaks and valleys that come along with being in a family business. Daniel is currently the owner and operator at his family–owned Pawnshop located in Massachusetts.
Eric is a business executive with over 30 years of experience, including operational experience in his own startup, decades dealing with capital markets and real estate investing in numerous asset classes. Eric has advised hundreds of companies through all stages of financing and is able to leverage his extensive network to help resolve many operational and financial challenges
